These pieces were recorded in April 2013, originally intended as sketches for the album Cycles/Other Phenomena. A limited set of analogue synths and drum machines were used, and each track was recorded live directly to stereo cassette or microcassette.

They can be thought of as unfinished pieces, damaged themes for grey afternoons, or spontaneous electronic deliberations, but each has a feeling of unique momentum, each an etching in time.

*The voice of the poet Philippe Alexander Santos is heard on track 6.
